Strategic Finance Manager

Location: Staines-upon-Thames, England, United Kingdom; hybrid working with a balance of remote and in-office work.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end board reporting, including financial analysis, narrative development, commentary review, and CFO alignment.
• Prepare monthly finance review materials, explain variances, and support senior leadership decision-making.
• Produce quarterly lender compliance and information packs, including covenant calculations and management commentary.
• Lead preparation for credit rating reviews and agency interactions, including data rooms and management presentations.
• Support refinancing, debt facility extensions or restructurings by coordinating advisors, investors, banks, and management materials.
• Provide analytical support for equity events, investor materials, Q&A preparation, data rooms, and cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of lenders, credit rating agencies, and institutional equity investors.
• Experience in transaction services or Big 4 deal advisory, investment banking or corporate finance, investor relations or corporate development, or strategic FP&A with investor or lender-facing responsibilities.
• Exceptional accuracy and precision in board packs, lender reports, and rating agency presentations.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear narratives for sophisticated audiences.
• Calm, organised, and reliable performance under compressed deadlines and high-stakes conditions.
• Ability to identify and implement faster, more accurate, and automated reporting approaches.
