Senior Field Application Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Waltham Office, United States; domestic and international travel up to 50%

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 annually

What you will do

• Serve as a regional technical expert for robotics integrations and help partners deliver deployments to company standards.
• Manage multiple integration projects, ensuring quality, reliability, and return on investment.
• Resolve complex technical escalations through troubleshooting and root cause analysis in collaboration with engineering.
• Develop and prototype integration solutions, tools, and workflows using robotics APIs and SDKs.
• Review integration designs, support partner certifications, and deliver technical training for partner engineers and project managers.
• Support field validation, technical go-to-market pilots, product feedback, and continuous improvements to partner enablement programs.

Requirements

• Professional proficiency in French and English, written and verbal, is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience; a master's degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in robotics, automation, or systems integration.
• Experience with robotics integration across hardware, networking, software, and payloads, including complex multi-site automation projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills across autonomy, mapping, networking, and hardware domains.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in field applications engineering, sales engineering, technical project management, or solution architecture.
• Networking knowledge, including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and routers or switches.
• Linux systems management and optimization, programming in Python, C++, TypeScript, or Kotlin, and familiarity with AutoCAD or equivalent design software.
• Relevant robotics, networking, or systems integration certifications.
