What you will do

• Define and own a mandate aligned with exceptional individual strengths.
• Work on frontier problems across AI and biology, including the agent platform, scientific research, infrastructure, product, and commercialization.
• Take ownership of work end to end, from diagnosing problems to designing and delivering solutions.
• Apply AI, coding agents, and automation where they can significantly increase output.

Requirements

• Demonstrated high agency and ability to handle work end to end without a predefined playbook.
• Strong practical use of AI and sound judgment about high-leverage applications.
• Low-ego, collaborative, and proactive working style.
• Concrete evidence of personally building, shipping, selling, or discovering something.
• Ability to work from the South San Francisco office five days per week, unless applying for a role that supports hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Interest in biology, drug discovery, or AI for science.
• Startup or founding-team experience in an early, ambiguous, under-resourced environment.
• Experience working on AI-native teams that use coding agents and extensive automation.
