Production Engineer (CI/CD)

Location: Santa Clara, California; primarily in-office work is required at the Santa Clara office.

Annual base salary: $180,000–$270,000 USD, with potential incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Architect, scale, and deliver high-availability developer platforms and automated services using Python, Go, or Rust.
• Extend and optimize distributed, multi-machine CI/CD build and test frameworks such as Jenkins.
• Build monitoring, logging, tracing, and incident-management tools to improve troubleshooting and root-cause resolution.
• Integrate access controls, patch automation, and vulnerability assessments into CI/CD systems.
• Partner with core Engineering teams to improve delivery speed, reliability, and tool adoption.

Requirements

• Experience designing scalable backend architectures and robust developer tooling, frameworks, or services.
• Strong Linux/Unix fundamentals and hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration infrastructure such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or Nomad.
• Extensive experience managing large-scale CI/CD platforms and integrating monitoring, logging, and alerting into engineering pipelines.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and incident-postmortem leadership skills.
• Ability to work primarily from the Santa Clara office.
