Frontend Engineer (AI)

Salary: $165,000–$225,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Ship polished, intuitive UI features used by thousands of users.
• Build performant, responsive interfaces on top of data-processing pipelines handling terabytes of audio data.
• Design interfaces that surface LLM- and DSP-based solutions and clarify nuanced dataset features.
• Work with researchers and Operations to rapidly deploy interfaces for collecting new data.
• Apply modern frontend technologies, design systems, and user-experience practices to the product.

Requirements

• 2+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• Strong frontend fundamentals, including rapid prototyping and building interfaces that scale to many users.
• Track record of delivering customer-impacting engineering solutions.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with detail-oriented execution.
• Track record of shipping polished, production-grade interfaces.

Nice to have

• Educational or professional experience with digital signal processing and a strong understanding of speech.
• Experience building production interfaces for ML-powered or data-heavy products.
• Experience leading engineering teams in high-growth environments.
