AI Solutions Engineer (AI/Fintech): Designing and deploying production-grade AI agents for fraud and risk workflows with an accent on technical evaluation and customer-facing delivery. Company
is a rapidly growing, Series A-funded startup building AI agents to automate high-precision risk investigations, fraud detection, and identity reviews for enterprises.
Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA (In-person position)
What you will do
- Design and ship production-grade AI agents that make real-time decisions within fraud and risk workflows.
- Own the technical evaluation and pilot execution, translating customer edge cases into robust technical requirements.
- Partner directly with operational stakeholders to encode their judgment into agentic logic.
- Manage the full agent development lifecycle, from initial scoping and tool engineering to performance tuning against production data.
- Design customized demos and lead technical discovery during the pre-sales process.
- Influence the long-term product roadmap based on patterns observed across customer deployments.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, solutions engineering, or software engineering.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with a track record of shipping end-to-end production systems.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs, including prompt engineering, context engineering, tool use, RAG, and evaluation frameworks.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and translate complex workflows into working systems.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.

- Experience deploying agentic systems in production environments.
- Domain expertise in fraud, risk, or financial services.
- Experience shipping software into regulated environments, including security reviews and audits.
