Solutions Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of enterprise-grade AI workflows, from discovery and design to implementation and iteration.
• Architect modular, reusable AI components while identifying when bespoke solutions are necessary.
• Define prompting standards, guardrails, and success metrics to ensure accuracy, safety, and performance.
• Build lightweight evaluation frameworks that scale across diverse enterprise clients.
• Collaborate with Product, AI Research, and Engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Mentor team members on prompting and integration skills while contributing to internal playbooks.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in New York, NY or able to commute for 3 days/week (Tues-Thurs) in-office.
• Work Authorization: Must have valid travel documents and no work authorization restrictions in the US.
• 3+ years in solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or consulting engineering.
• Proven experience with LLM/AI systems, including prompt design, evaluation, and safety guardrails.
• Strong enterprise craft with experience in stakeholder management and discovery.
• English proficiency: High level of communication required for enterprise stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Startup experience with a track record of navigating ambiguity and high-velocity execution.
• Experience in coaching or leadership development domains.
