GNC Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid in Tukwila, Washington, United States; willing to work from Tukwila required.

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 per year, plus 0.01%–0.05% equity.

hirify.global develops satellite servicing missions using the Otter servicing vehicle for satellite life extension and disposal.

What you will do

• Refine flight algorithms for autonomous satellite guidance during rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking.
• Write software for the Otter servicing vehicle and CEPHALOPOD guidance software.
• Develop autonomous flight algorithms for robotic in-orbit servicing missions.
• Test and refine GNC software for breakthrough RPOD missions.
• Apply guidance, navigation, and control expertise to satellite servicing operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with GNC, preferably in aerospace.
• Proficiency with astrodynamics and working knowledge of satellite guidance and/or control.
• Programming experience in Python and/or C/C++.
• B.S. degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.
• Must be a U.S. person or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR.
• Must be willing to work from Tukwila, Washington.

• Professional GNC experience in an aerospace context.
