What you will do

  • Lead the design, analysis, and deployment of fluid systems for a uranium enrichment facility.
  • Perform system sizing, performance analysis, requirements definition, and architecture trade studies.
  • Design pressurized and unpressurized components, assemblies, CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct structural and mechanical analyses for pressure, thermal, and operational loads.
  • Improve designs for manufacturability and lead first-article builds and production process development.
  • Plan qualification and acceptance testing and define system operating concepts from commissioning through steady-state operation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in fluid systems design, analysis, or hardware development.
  • Experience with gas dynamics, thermal analysis, finite element analysis, and CAD software.
  • Hands-on experience with pressurized systems such as valves, regulators, piping, tubing, or pressure vessels.
  • Ability to collaborate with manufacturing, safety, operations, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.

  • Experience owning operation-critical hardware from concept through production.
