Technicians (Photonics Manufacturing): Supporting 24/7 photonics manufacturing operations through equipment maintenance, line setup, troubleshooting, and real-time failure analysis with an accent on SMT processes, test fixture maintenance, and board-level debug. Focus on maintaining uptime, performing fine-pitch solder rework, executing equipment qualifications, and improving manufacturing yield during rotating 12-hour shifts.
Location: On-site at the Bulim facility, with rotating 12-hour day/night shifts

Develops photonics infrastructure for AI supercomputing, including optical interconnects and scalable photonic engines.
What you will do
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain manufacturing equipment during assigned shifts.
- Respond to line-down events, clear equipment errors, and record error codes in MES and maintenance tracking systems.
- Perform component-level touch-ups, fine-pitch soldering, manual inspection, and precision solder rework according to IPC standards.
- Support engineers with line qualifications, engineering runs, and yield improvement actions.
- Follow cleanroom, 5S, workplace safety, and health protocols.
Requirements
- Diploma or Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Technology.
- At least 1 year of experience in high-volume manufacturing, electronics assembly, or an SMT plant.
- Hands-on experience with basic hand tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering/desoldering equipment.
- Willingness to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts on-site at the Bulim plant.
