Launch Engineer - Avionics Integration & Test

hirify.global is an early-stage aerospace startup developing Nova, a fully and rapidly reusable launch vehicle designed for daily flight, lower launch costs, increased availability, and improved reliability.

What you will do

• Integrate avionics flight hardware on the launch vehicle during the final stages of build in the launch hangar at LC-14.
• Define and manage electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces required to integrate and operate the launch vehicle.
• Design, build, and procure electrical ground support equipment for launch-hangar and launch-pad operations.
• Collaborate with avionics, fluids, structures, software, and manufacturing teams on integration and electrical checkout.
• Define avionics test and operations sequences leading to the first Nova launch.
• Help establish company standards for avionics integration and testing at the launch site.

Requirements

• Experience or capability spanning electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces for complex launch systems.
• Ability to integrate and operate avionics flight hardware and ground support equipment.
• Ability to stay focused, move quickly, work independently, and learn on the fly.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet applicable ITAR requirements.
• Employment requires completion of U.S. employment eligibility verification and access to export-controlled technical data may require additional authorization.
