What you will do
- Coach and empower a software and systems engineering team while fostering collaboration across functions.
- Set team strategies for technical challenges involving positioning, control algorithms, and system component design.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle for new product introductions, balancing quality, cost, and time-to-market targets.
- Guide conceptual design, data analysis, requirements management, product development, and failure resolution.
- Collaborate with business leaders, suppliers, and stakeholders to advance field systems technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related technical field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in software or systems engineering.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles and product development processes.
- Strong project management, organizational, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in the Dayton office and travel approximately 10%.
