Billing Specialist (Parcel/Freight)

Provides commerce-enablement technology and high-volume fulfillment services, including fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and OMS, WMS, and pre- and post-purchase software platforms.

What you will do

• Prepare complex client invoices for freight and parcel services using large datasets and advanced Excel analysis.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Excellence, Operations, and Implementations during customer onboarding.
• Build customer relationships and resolve billing disputes to support timely payments.
• Document and improve billing procedures, best practices, and data management workflows.
• Prepare KPI reports and analyze billing issues, revenue trends, and operational variances for management.
• Support requests related to internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of 3PL operations and data flows between WMS and OMS.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or data analytics, or five years of experience in omnichannel, supply chain, parcel, or logistics industries.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas.
• Experience analyzing large datasets, preparing invoices, identifying discrepancies, and investigating billing issues.
• Strong communication, collaboration, time-management, independent-working, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with 3PL billing and processes.
• Experience with Freshdesk, Salesforce, or NetSuite.
