Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Create and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations addressing customer cybersecurity challenges.
• Lead proof-of-concept activities, including setup, configuration, and testing.
• Support sales teams throughout the sales cycle by identifying and qualifying opportunities and serving as the primary technical customer contact.
• Build technical customer relationships and coordinate handoffs to the Customer Success Team.
• Advise sales, development, and leadership teams and provide actionable customer feedback to Product Development.
• Represent the product portfolio at trade shows, channel events, and cybersecurity conferences.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in a pre-sales cybersecurity role and strong knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, attack frameworks, the cyber kill chain, red-team concepts, and penetration testing.
• Experience working with sales teams throughout all phases of the sales cycle.
• Strong technical understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with SOC, SIEM, EDR, MDR, NDR, vulnerability management, incident response, malware analysis, or related operational cybersecurity domains.
• Knowledge of networking, public and private cloud, virtualization, containers, and DevSecOps technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with red-team, blue-team, or purple-team testing and breach and attack simulation.
• Familiarity with firewalls, web application firewalls, Office 365, Gmail, AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud, VMware, OpenStack, Nutanix, Kubernetes, or Docker.
• Experience with Salesforce, Zoom, and other collaboration platforms.
