Salary: $165,000–$240,000 per year plus equity

Company

hirify.global is a defense technology startup developing autonomous, decentralized defense platforms and counter-UAV systems for the United States and its allies.

What you will do

  • Develop radar and RF sensing signal-processing software, including FFT processing, beamforming, detection, and tracking.
  • Model radar systems, prototype algorithms, simulate performance, and generate test vectors.
  • Write efficient, well-tested C/C++ firmware for microcontrollers, DSPs, and high-performance multicore processors.
  • Design unit, functional, laboratory, and end-to-end validation tests for signal-processing software.
  • Collaborate with RF, FPGA, hardware, and GNC engineers on hardware-software trade-offs, board bring-up, and RF calibration.
  • Own software reliability, documentation, project planning, and performance optimization across the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of production signal-processing software experience in radar, RF sensing, electronic warfare, wireless, or similar real-time systems.
  • Strong knowledge of digital and statistical signal processing, estimation, and detection theory.
  • Proficiency in low-level C/C++ and Python, MATLAB, or similar tools for modeling, simulation, analysis, and test-vector generation.
  • Experience with embedded architectures, real-time optimization, schematics, board and processor bring-up, drivers, SPI, I2C, and GPIO.
  • U.S. work authorization is required; the position may involve ITAR/EAR-controlled technology and cannot be performed with export-license sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience with pulse-Doppler, phased-array, or AESA radar, radar seekers, counter-UAV sensors, or other RF sensing products.
  • SIMD/vector programming, multicore processing, hardware accelerators, DMA, cache optimization, or heterogeneous processing experience.
  • RTOS, bare-metal development, Ethernet, CSI-2, lab test equipment, and military, aerospace, or safety-critical software standards.

Culture & Benefits

  • Startup environment focused on rapid iteration, technical execution, and national security.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Retirement savings plan and paid time off.
  • Equity participation and performance-based incentives.
  • Professional development funding for education and training.
