Salary: $87,000–$110,000 USD per year, plus potential stock and cash incentives.

What you will do

  • Operate launch pad systems from Mission Control during test campaigns, rehearsals, and launch operations.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, operational procedures, checklists, and HMIs for ground systems.
  • Develop, operate, configure, and test ground systems for Electron and Neutron launch vehicles.
  • Lead ground systems testing projects, including cryogenic loading, pressurization checkouts, and integrated pad operations.
  • Troubleshoot real-time ground systems issues and perform post-test and post-launch data analysis.
  • Mentor operators, support training and readiness reviews, and contribute to Neutron ground systems development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering; 4+ years of experience may substitute for the degree.
  • At least 2 years of engineering design, testing, or operations experience focused on ground systems, industrial controls, or fluid systems.
  • Ability to work with launch pad systems, GSE, fluid systems, industrial controls, and hazardous operations.
  • For U.S. office work, eligibility under U.S. Government ITAR export regulations is required or must be obtainable.
  • Ability to perform prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and computer work, with occasional exposure to noise, dust, and fumes.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Mission Control, launch vehicle or spacecraft operations, integration, testing, or launch operations.
  • Experience with ground support equipment, cryogenic or pressurized systems, propellant handling, PLCs, SCADA, or automated control sequences.
  • Experience developing operational procedures, test plans, HMIs, and real-time data analysis or troubleshooting.
  • Aviation, aircrew, or flight-test experience.
