Senior Manager, Business Process (BP) SOX and Internal Controls (AI)

Location: London, UK; hybrid

Salary: £105K–£130K per year, plus discretionary bonus and equity

What you will do

• Lead the Business Process workstream of hirify.global's SOX implementation programme and maintain the scoping and delivery plan.
• Design and test controls across Finance, IT, HR, Procurement, Legal, and other in-scope business processes.
• Identify control gaps, coordinate remediation, and provide practical recommendations aligned with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Work with management, external auditors, process owners, and senior stakeholders to agree remediation approaches.
• Prepare SOX updates for the VP, SOX and Internal Controls, the SOX Steering Committee, Executive Committee, and Audit Committee.
• Build the Business Process SOX team and provide training and hands-on guidance to process owners and department heads.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience working on and leading SOX Business Process programmes.
• Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements and experience designing, testing, and remediating controls.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders constructively.
• Collaborative, flexible, hands-on approach with strong project management skills.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders across multiple departments and willingness to travel internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience with IPO SOX readiness.
• Experience in Enterprise Risk Management or Internal Audit.
• Big Four experience.
