Senior Compliance Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Maintain quality gates and review validation results for software releases to confirm production readiness.
• Implement lightweight, compliant engineering processes based on Automotive SPICE across Jira, Confluence, and Jama workflows.
• Support ISO 21434 cybersecurity activities, including Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment, OSS CVE review, and security control implementation.
• Own static analysis reports for OEM customers covering MISRA C/C++, RTE, CERT C++, and HIS Metrics.
• Prioritize code quality violations, track Must-Fix issues to closure, and provide technical justifications for rule deviations.
• Support external audits and compliance assessments by preparing evidence and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in automotive software quality or systems engineering.
• Expert-level knowledge of Automotive SPICE and/or ISO 21434 cybersecurity compliance.
• Experience with static analysis standards and tools such as MISRA C/C++, RTE, CERT C++, Coverity, Polyspace, or QAC.
• Hands-on experience with Automotive SPICE assessment, process definition, and external audit support.
• Fluent written and verbal English is required for communication with headquarters and global OEM customers.

Nice to have

• CFSE, CFSP, CACSP, or ASPICE Assessor certification.
• Experience with Jama or CodeBeamer requirements management tools.
• Software development or architecture experience, including Yocto, Bitbake, CMake, Linux Kernel configuration, SELinux, Secure Boot, MMU, or hypervisors.
