Senior Director, Operations

Location: PIT01; regular travel between campuses and company locations of approximately 20%–35% is required.

What you will do

• Lead critical facility operations across multiple campuses, ensuring uptime, service delivery, safety, security, maintenance, logistics, emergency preparedness, and business continuity.
• Oversee the reliability and availability of UPS systems, generators, electrical distribution, cooling, fire protection, BMS, and other critical infrastructure.
• Manage market performance, operating budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, vendor activity, customer commitments, and operational reporting.
• Lead and develop campus Directors, Facility Managers, technicians, and other operations personnel.
• Serve as the senior operations contact for customers and the escalation point for major infrastructure events, operational concerns, and personnel issues.
• Support campus expansion, new facility activation, commissioning, customer deployments, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in mission-critical, data center, industrial, utility, or critical facility operations.
• At least five years of leadership experience managing multiple facilities, campuses, or operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure, maintenance programs, incident response, change management, and operational procedures.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, staffing, vendors, customer service, and operational performance data.
• Ability to respond to significant operational events outside normal business hours and work in active critical environments.
