Senior Associate - Private Equity Fund Accounting (Mumbai/ Pune)

Location: Onsite in Mumbai (Airoli or Goregaon) or Pune, Maharashtra, India

What you will do

• Resolve breaks and assist with cash projections and wires.
• Set up funds, investments, alternative investment vehicles, partners, and static data in the system.
• Calculate fees and prepare NAV packs.
• Process capital calls and distributions and prepare waterfall files.
• Prepare partners’ capital statements and financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Handle audits, investor queries, and ad hoc or customized fund reports.

Requirements

• Experience in private equity fund accounting and related fund deliverables.
• Ability to prepare NAV, financial statements, partners’ capital statements, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS financial reporting.
• Ability to work the afternoon shift.
• Ability to work onsite from the Mumbai or Pune office.
• Chartered Accountant qualification is referenced in the application subject line.
