TL;DR

Senior Associate - Private Equity Fund Accounting (Private Equity): Preparing NAV packs, capital calls, distributions, partner capital statements, and financial statements for private equity funds with an accent on fund setup, fee calculations, and US GAAP/IFRS reporting. Focus on resolving NAV breaks, preparing waterfall files, handling audits and investor queries, and delivering accurate client reporting without material errors.

Location: Onsite office locations in Mumbai (Airoli and Goregaon) and Pune, Maharashtra, India; afternoon shift.

What you will do

Resolve breaks and assist with cash projections and wire preparation.
Set up funds, investments, AIVs, and partners in the system, including fund static data.
Calculate fees and prepare NAV packs.
Process capital calls and distributions and prepare waterfall files.
Prepare and issue partners’ capital statements and financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS.
Handle audit and investor queries and prepare ad hoc or customized reports for funds and investors.

Requirements

Experience relevant to private equity fund accounting and the listed fund accounting deliverables.
Ability to prepare financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS.
Ability to work the afternoon shift from the Mumbai or Pune office.
Ability to deliver accurate and timely work according to client calendars and avoid material errors, NAV breaks, reruns, and escalations.
