RMAC Applications Engineering Lead (Robotics)

Location: Savannah, United States; onsite role with support for multi-shift operations from 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm as needed

Salary: $177,207.64–$221,509.55 annually

What you will do

• Lead and mentor Applications and Integration Engineers at the Robotic Mobile Application Center.
• Coordinate between Atlas Engineering, Product, local Operations, Hardware SMEs, HMGMA, and Glovis stakeholders.
• Design data-collection processes, test scenarios, and playbooks supporting the 10,000-hour collection goal.
• Define success criteria and oversee Operational Level Testing and Factory Acceptance Testing for behavior policies.
• Act as robot mission lead for fleet health, uptime, hardware utilization, experiment prioritization, and reliability metrics.
• Lead Atlas site integration, secure network connectivity, technical triage, and pilot execution in automotive manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in robotics operations, systems engineering, or field application engineering, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of robotics software stacks, controls, and electromechanical hardware interfaces.
• Experience with Ubuntu/Linux, networking telemetry, Real-Time code, Python, C++, or scripting.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Tableau, plus the ability to translate R&D concepts into actionable information for executives and operators.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically to Atlas deployment sites or hirify.global headquarters and support a multi-shift operation.
