Head of Product Design (AI)

Location: On-site in Stockholm, Sweden; primarily based at the Stockholm office.

What you will do

• Lead and evolve the product design craft across the company.
• Mentor and develop product designers through feedback, coaching, and collaboration.
• Represent design in leadership discussions and influence company-wide product decisions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on product principles, direction, and execution.
• Establish and improve discovery practices across research, prototyping, validation, and user feedback.
• Contribute hands-on to product and interaction design, including AI-enabled user experiences and design processes.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing digital products with strong product judgment and user intuition.
• Experience leading or mentoring designers and personally driving meaningful product work from discovery through delivery.
• Deep experience with user research, testing, prototyping, and validation.
• Strong systems thinking and experience improving design workflows and team effectiveness.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution and work effectively within technical constraints.
• Strong communication, feedback, collaboration, ownership, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience designing AI-native products or building AI-native design processes.
• Experience in healthtech and early-stage startups or scaleups.
• Comfort engaging in technical discussions and designing within engineering constraints.
