Senior SDET Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Oversee technical support quality across client-side applications and backend systems, including cloud services, AI Agent Q&A workflows, billing, and payment gateways.
• Debug QA issues by identifying root causes, collecting complete logs, and reproducing defects.
• Lead end-to-end test automation by converting customer-reported issues into automated test cases and user documentation.
• Analyze consumer reviews, complaints, AI/chatbot data, and Google Analytics metrics to improve self-service coverage.
• Create SOPs, customer-facing guides, and semi-automated verification mechanisms for manual billing, payment, and licensing workflows.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to analyze App/UI and backend issues, collect logs, and reproduce defects independently.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell Script and experience creating and maintaining automation test scripts.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and at least one UI automation tool: Playwright, Appium, or Selenium.
• Experience designing end-to-end tests across UI and backend layers and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as Docker and Kubernetes; strong communication skills in Chinese and English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience applying AI-native development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code, with critical review of generated code and attention to token efficiency.
• Ability to interpret Google Analytics and chatbot metrics to identify customer issue trends and improve workflows.
• Experience with iOS/Android testing, performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust, and Agile/Scrum development.
• Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving, collaboration, and professional maturity.
