Materials Management Specialist I (Biotech)

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts, United States; onsite warehouse position.

Salary: $43–$57 per hour.

What you will do

• Process goods receipts, goods issues, inventory movements, and other transactions in SAP.
• Receive materials, manage inventory, perform cycle counts, and replenish point-of-use racks.
• Create GMP material kits using SAP-generated pick lists.
• Coordinate shipments, pack GMP and non-GMP materials, and provide loading dock coverage.
• Move materials using manual handling and pallet jacks between storage locations and shipping docks.
• Obtain Certificates of Analysis, enter data accurately in business systems, and provide backup coverage across the warehouse team.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of GMP warehouse or logistics experience.
• Experience with ERP or computer-based inventory systems; SAP EWM is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs, work independently, and collaborate with a team.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision and adapt to changing assignments.
• Availability for overtime, holidays, weekends, different shifts, and scheduled on-call phone coverage.
