People eXperience (HR) Advisor – Netherlands

Location: On-site in Bodegraven, Netherlands; travel requirement is minimal at 0–10%.

What you will do

• Coach managers on day-to-day leadership challenges, performance management, and team growth.
• Manage short- and long-term absence cases in compliance with Dutch regulations, including the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter.
• Resolve complex employee relations and performance cases through mediation and investigations.
• Implement global people programs locally in collaboration with international Centres of Excellence.
• Support local talent initiatives and address practical organizational challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience as an HR Advisor or HR Generalist, including independent management of complex casework.
• Strong practical knowledge of Dutch labor law and Dutch absence legislation.
• Native Dutch speaker and full professional fluency in English required.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
