Senior Discretionary Trader - Credit

Location: London or New York

Salary: Minimum base salary of $150,000 annually if located in New York; discretionary bonuses may constitute a significant portion of total compensation.

hirify.global develops and executes discretionary and semi-systematic trading strategies across equities, commodities, rates/FX, and credit, including volatility strategies.

What you will do

• Identify, research, evaluate, and implement discretionary trading strategies.
• Communicate with trading and risk management functions to ensure clear understanding of trading strategies and risk.
• Collaborate globally with traders, analysts, quantitative researchers, and other discretionary traders.
• Contribute to the advancement of analytical tools.
• Use internal data and research tools, external research, and professional relationships.
• Train and develop junior discretionary traders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of proven trading experience in a buy-side or sell-side capacity.
• Experience successfully building and managing trading strategies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teammates globally.
• Strong sense of urgency and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
