Senior Derivatives Trader (Crypto)

Location: Remote for candidates based in the Western Hemisphere outside the United States and Canada; examples include the Cayman Islands and Brazil. Work hours primarily align with Western Hemisphere time zones. All new hires must complete an in-person onboarding process.

What you will do

• Develop and execute trading strategies for digital asset derivatives, including options, forwards, and structured products.
• Execute client business, manage portfolios, grow P&L, and maintain disciplined risk controls.
• Expand the OTC derivatives business by building trading infrastructure, quantitative models, and durable operating processes.
• Optimize execution and portfolio decisions using market analysis, performance analytics, and quantitative models.
• Analyze crypto market dynamics and signals to support trading decisions in complex market environments.
• Mentor junior traders and promote knowledge sharing, ownership, and accountability.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the Western Hemisphere outside the United States and Canada.
• At least 7 years of experience trading derivatives, including options, forwards, and structured products.
• Deep understanding of derivatives, market structure, crypto market flows, and digital asset markets.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and data analysis with Python, R, or other languages.
• Strong risk management skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Experience mentoring and training junior traders, with demonstrated ownership, autonomy, and accountability.

• Sell-side derivatives trading experience at a bulge bracket bank.
