Functional Software Analyst (Power Electronics)

Location: Valencia, Spain; some travel required.

Develops integrated structural, electrical, and digital clean-energy solutions for utility-scale solar power plants.

What you will do

• Design software system architectures for power electronics products.
• Analyze high-level requirements and translate them into detailed software specifications.
• Study control models from the systems department and define their software implementation.
• Manage and maintain the software specifications backlog while serving as product owner.
• Collaborate with product engineering, system engineering, field application engineers, and technical service.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, customer-facility testing, and mentoring of less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Science or engineering degree.
• 6–10 years of experience as a Functional Software Analyst.
• Fluent Spanish and English, written and spoken, required.
• Experience in firmware development and embedded Linux development.
• Knowledge of power electronics, solar inverters, energy storage, digital signal processing, neural networks, or machine learning.
• Ability to define software architectures and specifications from high-level or incomplete requirements.
