What you will do

• Manage architectural design projects independently, including timelines, deadlines, workload, and project updates.
• Develop space plans, programming, code analysis, layouts, and Revit-based design and handoff packages.
• Produce interior design drawings, lighting strategies, joinery and FF&E specifications, technical drawings, and coordination packages.
• Manage design deliverables for configured member projects and coordinate architectural test-fits for management agreements, reprogramming, and sales requests.
• Collaborate with design leadership, internal stakeholders, external consultants, suppliers, and clients across design milestones, meetings, and site visits.
• Source materials and FF&E suppliers while monitoring project costs and maintaining design quality and compliance with local codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design from an accredited university, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in design, construction, or operations for high-quality commercial or hospitality projects; mixed-use residential, cultural, and institutional experience is also considered.
• Proficiency in BIM Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, Google tools, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to internal stakeholders and members.
• Knowledge of construction best practices, building and accessibility codes, joinery design, FF&E principles, materials, finishes, colour, spatial perception, and lighting.
• Ability to analyse and incorporate metrics and data into design solutions and work effectively in a rapid project schedule.
