QA Supervisor (Food)

Location: Warrington, United Kingdom. Onsite shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off with overlapping shifts.

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate the QA team’s daily roadmap, including mentoring, one-to-ones, reviews, rota planning, and holiday management.
• Work with production teams to maintain a “visit-ready, every day” quality culture and direct audits of production processes.
• Coordinate non-conformance findings, track corrective actions, and help develop permanent solutions to recurring issues.
• Supervise Pick Line Quality Controllers, improve replenishment and data capture, and resolve live quality issues.
• Support the creation and maintenance of procedures for the Quality Management System.
• Coordinate quality requirements for new raw materials, including shelf-life reviews, transit trials, and defrost trials.

Requirements

• Previous QA experience in a fast-paced food, e-commerce, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and GMP standards, plus solid auditing experience.
• Experience supervising a shift-based team and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• High computer literacy, particularly with email, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with internal teams and external customers.
