Quality Assurance Technician - THG Manufacturing (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global Omega, Warrington, UK. Week 1: 6am–2pm; Week 2: 2pm–10pm, Monday to Friday.

What you will do

• Conduct GMP, fabrication, glass, and brittle plastic audits and report adherence to quality management procedures.
• Inspect supplier deliveries, including pallets, documentation, labels, and packaging integrity.
• Take product and environmental samples and perform Near-Infrared Spectrometer and organoleptic checks.
• Collect microbiological samples from raw materials, water, hygiene swabs, and finished products.
• Complete label, temperature, weighing-scale calibration, production, and QA checks.
• Maintain quality documentation, issue Certificates of Analysis or Conformity, and support internal audits and investigations.

Requirements

• Experience in Quality Assurance; 2+ years is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
• Effective communication, listening, influencing, and persuading skills.
• Good time-management skills and flexibility to work the required rotating weekday hours.
• Confident PC skills.
• HACCP training is desirable but not essential.
