Vehicle Assembly and Service Technician (Autonomous USVs)

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; candidates must be authorized to work in Denmark/EU. The role requires planned domestic and international travel, typically 50–75%, across Nordic, EU, and other operating locations. Work or residence permit sponsorship is not available. Access to classified information requires obtaining and maintaining a personnel security clearance through the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET).

What you will do

• Coordinate and perform assembly and service workflows to keep the vehicle fleet mission-ready, safe, and reliable.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair electro-mechanical equipment in field, shipyard, marine, and industrial environments.
• Support domestic and international vehicle deployment, recovery, repair, loading, shipping preparation, and offloading activities.
• Train and support colleagues, contractors, clients, and partners on vehicle assembly and service procedures.
• Coordinate technical teams and represent hirify.global professionally with customers, contractors, and partners.
• Assess field procedures and vehicle designs, providing feedback to improve safety, consistency, serviceability, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Typically 5+ years of relevant electrical and mechanical experience in technical service, field operations, shipyard, maritime, or heavy industrial environments.
• Ability to read service instructions and diagrams, use hand tools, rigging, and heavy equipment, and systematically diagnose electro-mechanical systems in marine environments.
• Experience coordinating teams and contractors, explaining technical concepts, documenting work, and maintaining accurate safety, process, and inventory records.
• Authorization to work in Denmark and eligibility to meet customer, site-access, security, and export-control requirements.
• Willingness and physical ability to travel 50–75% and work in shipyards, docks, vessels, confined spaces, at heights, and in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Danish personnel security clearance; hirify.global Denmark does not sponsor work or residence permits.

Nice to have

• Technical field-operations experience with a global OEM or in maritime, automotive, aerospace, offshore energy, renewable energy, heavy industry, telecommunications, or shipyard environments.
• Experience creating repair content, service documentation, standardized procedures, or manufacturability improvements.
• Experience with rigging, mooring, boat handling, forklift and lifting-machine operation, crane operation, heavy-equipment logistics, or shipping preparation.
• Experience driving 30+ ft twin-engine powerboats and operating vehicles with trailers.
