What you will do

• Develop quantitative models for transaction cost analysis and high-frequency trading.
• Apply numerical and statistical methods to quantitative research and trading problems.
• Use Python, R, MATLAB, or similar tools for analysis and modeling.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
• Communicate analytical findings and solutions clearly.

Requirements

• Outstanding academic background with a technical degree from a top-tier university.
• 5+ years of experience in quantitative research, proprietary trading firms, hedge funds, or investment banks.
• Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments.
• Ability and willingness to work in New York City.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine learning techniques and AI applications in trading.
• Knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and trading infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data processing and storage solutions.
• Programming expertise in C++, SQL, or other relevant languages.
