Senior Security Engineer

What you will do

• Configure and maintain security settings for critical SaaS applications across identity, collaboration, productivity, and business operations platforms.
• Manage mobile device management policies for company-owned and BYOD devices, including compliance controls that gate access to controlled data.
• Secure Windows, macOS, and mobile endpoints through patching, encryption, threat protection, and compliance monitoring.
• Implement authentication and access controls, including MFA and conditional access aligned with NIST technical controls.
• Monitor, investigate, remediate, and document security incidents across endpoints, mobile devices, and SaaS applications.
• Maintain security documentation and support System Security Plan development by documenting control implementations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT security, endpoint management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS administration and security configuration best practices.
• Experience with identity and access management, MFA, and conditional access; Microsoft Entra ID experience is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of endpoint protection, patch management, and encryption.
• Experience investigating and remediating security incidents and documenting investigations.
• Hands-on experience with MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune, JAMF, or Kandji.

Nice to have

• Experience with NIST 800-171, CMMC Level 2, SOC 2, ISO 27001, security assessments, or audit evidence production.
• Experience with SIEM tools or centralized logging platforms.
• Scripting or automation experience with PowerShell or Python.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, Microsoft Security Operations Analyst, or CMMC credentials.
