Software Engineer (C#)

Location: Onsite in Pleasanton, California, Monday through Friday

Base annual salary: $105,000–$130,000; annual bonus of up to 10%.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and frontend technologies.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs for web applications and internal tools.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and troubleshoot features across frontend and backend components.
• Optimize database queries and data models using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Apply authentication and authorization practices including OAuth, JWT, and session-based authentication.
• Deploy and monitor applications in Azure or AWS, participate in code reviews, and improve development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of professional software development experience; internships and personal projects are welcome.
• Experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, RESTful APIs, and web application architecture.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and relational database concepts; basic understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure or AWS, OAuth or JWT, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, or Agile practices.
• Personal projects, open-source contributions, or portfolio applications.
