Engineering Manager (Webshare product)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; Workplace: Hybrid

Salary: €6,000–€8,000 gross per month plus a quarterly KPI-based performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead people management for hiring, professional growth, performance reviews, and salary reviews.
• Manage delivery for a team of 8–10 senior engineers in line with business priorities and team capacity.
• Own delivery outcomes, communicate expectations and status, and push back on incomplete specifications.
• Balance features, experiments, technical debt, bug fixes, and cross-team dependencies.
• Drive technical excellence through code review culture, testing, observability, and infrastructure reliability.
• Make day-to-day architecture decisions and maintain systems processing 650B+ requests per month and 300K+ requests per second.

Requirements

• Product sensibility and the ability to understand business reasons behind technical decisions.
• Experience working in high-autonomy engineering cultures.
• Technical background.
• Fluent English for collaboration in an international team.

Nice to have

• System architecture experience.
• SaaS, API, or developer tools experience.
• Experience with the Python ecosystem, including Django and async Python.
• Experience with high-throughput distributed systems at billions-scale.
• Knowledge of the proxy, scraping, or data collection industry.
