Senior Architect (Integration)

Location: Germany, remote with up to 50% of the time spent on-site with customer business and technical teams. The role focuses on the EMEA region, with priority for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

What you will do

• Own the integration portion of hirify.global enterprise software implementations using Agile methodology.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and product definition through implementation and post-production.
• Design, configure, create, and implement integration points using Java, Apache Camel, and Gosu.
• Work with customers, systems integrator partners, developers, business analysts, QA testers, and project leadership.
• Coordinate custom solutions, maintenance, support, updates, and incident monitoring.
• Design and implement configuration and integration tests and communicate software issues to hirify.global development teams.

Requirements

• Strong object-oriented design, development, testing, design patterns, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience implementing enterprise software in complex environments and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to write and review code and provide technical recommendations to customers and partners.
• Experience leading and collaborating across multifunctional teams on complex, large-scale projects.
• Experience with Agile methodology, workshops, technical presentations, coaching, and mentoring.
• Native German language skills and strong written and spoken English are required.

• Insurance industry experience and knowledge of insurance business processes.
• Experience with Java, J2EE, SQL, JSON, and XML.
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud deployment practices.
