Compliance Specialist (EdTech)

Location: Los Angeles, United States; hybrid with 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Review and approve educator profiles and verify documentation, including background checks, references, immunizations, and training certifications.
• Assist with background checks and conduct regular compliance audits.
• Collaborate with the Compliance team to develop and implement policies protecting students and schools.
• Help build a company-wide culture of compliance and promote adherence to state, federal, and internal standards.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comfort with technology and proficiency with Google Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Passion for child safety and secure, supportive educational environments.
• Prior compliance or administrative experience is helpful but not required.
