Automation Engineer IT and Business Systems (Power Automate)

Location: Commutable to Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States; hybrid work week with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Salary: $79,000–$117,000 base per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives

What you will do

• Design and deliver workflow, RPA, integration, dashboard, and collaboration solutions using Power Automate, Microsoft 365, Power BI, and AI/ML capabilities.
• Analyze business requirements and architect solutions covering performance, availability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop, test, package, and deploy automations across development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, data integrity checks, and Tier 3 support for automation tools and integration workflows.
• Create documentation, user guides, and training materials, and train end users.
• Automate repetitive IT tasks with PowerShell and Python while collaborating with IT, engineering, operations, and corporate functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience as an automation or integration engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, including workflow automation and preferably RPA.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, SQL Server or cloud-native databases, SQL, PowerShell, Python, and system integration frameworks.
• Experience delivering solutions through requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Must be commutable to the Rock Hill, South Carolina location and work a hybrid schedule of three office days and two remote days.

Nice to have

• Experience with networking, operating systems, server infrastructure, cloud platforms, UiPath or other RPA tools, BPMN, ITIL, ERP systems, manufacturing environments, or Lean principles.
• Experience applying Agile/Scrum practices, UI/UX methodologies, cybersecurity standards, and AI/ML tools.
