Manager of Cybersecurity Strategy and Governance (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite at a hirify.global corporate office in Birmingham, AL; Tupelo, MS; Atlanta, GA; Houston or Dallas/Houston, TX; Minnetonka, MN; or Detroit, MI

Salary: $102,000–$208,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Support the design and execution of cybersecurity strategy, governance, and innovation roadmaps.
• Track maturity goals, milestones, risks, dependencies, audit issues, regulatory findings, and remediation items.
• Manage cybersecurity policy and standards lifecycles in alignment with regulatory and industry frameworks.
• Maintain risk and control matrices and coordinate inputs for enterprise risk assessments, RCSAs, and self-assessments.
• Develop cybersecurity metrics, dashboards, and executive and risk committee reporting.
• Coordinate working groups and collaborate with Cybersecurity, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, engineering, and architecture functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Information Systems, or a related field, or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or governance functions.
• 3+ years of experience using cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, FFIEC CAT, ISO 27001, or CRI.
• 3+ years of experience with regulatory and risk management practices, particularly in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Ability to manage cross-functional work, translate technical concepts into business terms, and deliver results in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with GRC platforms, data visualization tools, and metrics reporting is preferred.
