Manager, Environmental Health & Safety (Manufacturing)

Location: BangPa-in, Thailand; onsite at BangPa-In Building 3

What you will do

• Ensure compliance with local, customer, and regulatory environmental health and safety obligations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, programs, procedures, and an integrated management system covering ISO 45001, ISO 14001, RBA, and PSM.
• Lead risk assessments, environmental sustainability initiatives, waste management, pollution prevention, audits, inspections, and management reporting.
• Provide EHS training and education to employees and management while collaborating with operations, maintenance, engineering, and human resources.
• Manage the EHS budget, audit schedules, contractor permits to work, and employee feedback responses.
• Act as or command the emergency response incident commander when authorized, and stop work where significant safety risks are identified.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
• At least 8 years of work experience, including at least 2 years in a management position within a multinational manufacturing company.
• Knowledge of local EHS laws, RBA requirements, regulations, and sustainability practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication, listening, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and integrate digital tools and data analytics into EHS operations.

Nice to have

• Professional Safety Officer certificate.
• EHS experience across Southeast Asian countries.
• Lead Auditor qualifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RBA, PSM, or ISO 22301.
• Experience with MS Office, Power BI, hazardous substance control, GHG calculation under ISO 14064-1, or environmental controller requirements under DIW.
