Vice President, Finance

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States

Salary: $294,500–$350,000 per year, plus potential bonus, commissions, and equity.

What you will do

• Develop and implement financial strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and corporate finance processes.
• Establish KPIs, analyze financial performance, and deliver recommendations to executive leadership.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for the executive team and Board of Directors.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow, working capital, debt, liquidity, and relationships with financial institutions.
• Evaluate investments, acquisitions, and financing strategies while scaling financial systems, automation, and AI-driven insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in a high-growth SaaS or software company.
• Experience owning and scaling FP&A and Corporate Finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS metrics, revenue recognition, pipeline forecasting, and operational KPIs such as ARR, CAC, LTV, and churn.
• Expertise in financial modeling and tools including Excel, Salesforce, NetSuite, and planning platforms such as Adaptive or Anaplan.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional influencing skills.

Nice to have

• CFA and/or CPA certification.
• Experience in both private and public companies.
• Experience in the data industry, including storage, networking, or cybersecurity.
• Experience supporting investor communications and board-level reporting.
