Lead, Channels and Audit Analytics (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead risk-based audits across digital channels, payment products, customer journeys, and technology-enabled business processes.
• Design audit analytics and continuous monitoring routines using SQL, Python, Power BI, Metabase, Superset, Redash, or similar tools.
• Assess risks and controls across payment processing, onboarding, transaction lifecycles, operational resilience, cybersecurity, and technology change management.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify control failures, fraud indicators, unusual transaction patterns, operational inefficiencies, and compliance risks.
• Review audit evidence and reports, prepare actionable recommendations, and monitor remediation plans.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Finance stakeholders while coaching audit team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in internal audit, audit analytics, data analytics, technology audit, risk management, or consulting within financial services or fintech.
• At least one of ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA, or CFE certifications.
• Strong SQL scripting and data interrogation skills, with hands-on experience in analytical tools such as Python, Power BI, Metabase, Superset, Redash, IDEA, Alteryx, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of digital banking, payment systems, card schemes, POS acquiring, merchant services, APIs, governance, internal controls, cybersecurity, cloud environments, and IT general controls.
• Strong report writing, stakeholder management, critical thinking, project management, and team leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or professional certification in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related analytical discipline.
• Experience developing automated audit analytics, continuous auditing routines, and dashboard reporting.
