Senior Analyst, Risk Analytics (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Build, refine, and maintain ETL pipelines integrating security, IT, and business data from multiple sources.
• Develop scripts, tools, and automation for data processing, risk measurement, and platform operations.
• Create and maintain analytics, metrics, and dashboards covering security performance, risk exposure, remediation progress, and control effectiveness.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, data quality issues, and emerging information security risks.
• Translate analytical findings into clear reports and presentations for executives and operational stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, solve analytical problems, document solutions, and deliver actionable insights.

Requirements

• Advanced understanding of statistics, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Working knowledge of information security and IT concepts, including vulnerability management, patching, endpoint security, cloud security, identity and access management, asset inventory, monitoring, and risk management.
• Experience analyzing large and complex security, IT, and business datasets.
• Experience with star or snowflake schemas and dimensional data modeling.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python or R, plus an understanding of data quality frameworks such as validation, profiling, and anomaly detection.
• Typically two years of relevant experience and the ability to communicate analytical insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, statistics, data analysis, mathematics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity or IT data sources such as vulnerability scanners, endpoint detection tools, CMDBs, cloud platforms, identity systems, SIEM platforms, or ticketing systems.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Domo.
