Projectionist (Live Event Production)

Location: Remote and fully mobile within the United States; 7–10 days of training in Boulder followed by constant road travel across the country. The role requires shared lodging with another crew member.

Salary: $875 per week, plus a taxable $70 per diem for scheduled working days.

What you will do

• Manage video playback, media formats, projection equipment, audio alignment, and run-of-show execution across multiple venues.
• Coordinate technical requirements and show schedules with local theater staff.
• Guide, train, and oversee local theater technical crews to maintain production standards.
• Collaborate with the road crew and emcee on audio cues, timing, and nightly show operations.
• Manage production inventory, equipment assessments, maintenance, shipping, and ground movement between venues.
• Assist with heavy equipment transport, setup and teardown, including projection screen construction.

Requirements

• Experience in live event production, theatrical projection, or video/audio production is highly desirable.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills for resolving complex issues under live event pressure.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lift and move production equipment weighing more than 50 lbs regularly.
• Adaptability and self-motivation in a fast-paced, constantly changing road-tour environment.
• Familiarity with or passion for winter sports and Warren Miller Entertainment is preferred.
