Compositor (VFX)

Location: 100% remote within the United Kingdom; no exceptions to the local working-rights requirement during the contract period.

hirify.global is a global visual effects company specialising in photoreal VFX for film, episodic content, and commercials.

What you will do

• Integrate live-action layers, CG elements, and other visual-effects components into photoreal shots.
• Handle shots from start to finish, including roto, tracking, paint, animation, and element creation.
• Extract mattes from blue- and green-screen photography and create multi-pass CG composites.
• Apply strong attention to detail, colour, colour space, and lighting.
• Maintain clean, efficient script organisation and communicate progress to Coordinators, Producers, Leads, and Supervisors.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of compositor experience for episodic or feature VFX at Mid level, or 5 years at Senior level.
• Strong expertise in tracking and blue- and green-screen compositing.
• Proficiency in Nuke, Photoshop, Boujou, SynthEyes, Mocha, Primatte, Keylight, and Ultimatte.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, accept criticism, and work under high pressure with short deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with ShotGrid.
