What you will do

• Lead and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of middleware for mobile robotic platforms.
• Build middleware components for robotics systems and reliable communication frameworks between distributed software components.
• Develop logging, diagnostics, telemetry, and observability infrastructure.
• Design process-management systems for launching, monitoring, restarting, and supervising robotic software services.
• Deploy, validate, and troubleshoot software on physical robots and in simulation environments.
• Own features and provide technical expertise across middleware capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience with a bachelor's degree in computer science, robotics, engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Production-quality software development experience in C++.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, process management, networking, IPC, and system services.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel by car or plane to client and customer locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with ROS2 and DDS.
• Experience with TCP/IP, UDP, and other network protocols.
