Senior Platform Engineer (Terraform)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid working model.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate on-premises and cloud infrastructure and platform components.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance across platform services.
• Develop automation for provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and daily platform operations.
• Operate production platforms, manage incidents, and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify improvement opportunities, manage technical risks, and support platform evolution and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Senior experience in platform, infrastructure, systems, or cloud engineering within complex, large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and infrastructure architecture across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation, including Terraform and scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools, artifact and repository management, and CI/CD pipelines, including Sonar, Blackduck, JFrog Artifactory, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Experience with containers and orchestration.
