DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Fully remote from anywhere in Europe; listed locations include Warsaw, Bucharest, and Lisbon.

hirify.global is hiring for its Platform team to support software and infrastructure services.

What you will do

• Manage and build hybrid cloud and bare-metal infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain internal services and deployment environments.
• Build and maintain production monitoring and log management systems.
• Deploy, test, and manage Kubernetes clusters.
• Improve infrastructure performance and reliability, including root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Collaborate with software development and QA teams on integration and testing.

Requirements

• More than 4 years of continuous DevOps or IT system administration experience.
• Practical experience administering Unix/Linux servers, including Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL, or CentOS.
• Experience with hybrid infrastructure, CI/CD, configuration management, virtualization, and containerization.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, infrastructure as code, policy as code, Kubernetes, Git, Bash, and Python.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, clustering, application and infrastructure monitoring, and production log management.
• Understanding of IT security practices, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS benchmarks, advanced networking, ACLs, firewalls, VPN tunnels, and advanced routing; availability for disaster-related 24/7 on-call coverage.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or GCP.
• Experience with the Microsoft 365 stack.
