NetSuite Solutions Architect (ERP)

What you will do

• Define the technical architecture and long-term strategy for NetSuite deployments across multiple companies.
• Make decisions about single-instance versus multi-instance design, data integrations, reporting, and customization boundaries.
• Design solutions with implementation partners and finance teams, present options, explain trade-offs, and recommend appropriate approaches.
• Establish standards for multi-subsidiary accounting, intercompany transactions, reporting structures, and integrations.
• Assess implementation and integration partners, review proposals, and recommend suitable vendor approaches.
• Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and troubleshoot implementation problems hands-on.

Requirements

• 7–12 years of experience in ERP implementation, solution architecture, or enterprise systems consulting.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of NetSuite or similar enterprise systems, including data models, modules, reporting, integrations, and customization.
• Experience in presales, customer-facing architecture, or consulting, with the ability to present design options and explain technical trade-offs.
• Strong judgment in evaluating configuration, customization, integration, and process-change alternatives based on business value.
• Clear communication with implementation partners, finance teams, executives, and other technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work as a hands-on individual contributor, troubleshoot issues, and review implementation details directly.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Solution Architect or senior consultant at a NetSuite partner or Big Four consulting firm.
• Presales or customer-facing architecture experience, including presentations, product demonstrations, and collaborative design.
• Experience with multi-subsidiary, holding-company, or acquisition-heavy environments.
• Experience designing NetSuite solutions for multiple companies or customers.
• NetSuite certifications or demonstrated expertise in configuration, customization, and advanced module design.
